Gr. 7-8 Registration Fall 2025
Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School, where we provide a nurturing and academically rigorous environment for students in grades 7-12. We are committed to supporting their educational journey and personal growth. To ensure a smooth registration process, we encourage parents and guardians to use the checklist below to make sure nothing is missed.

Registration for Fall 2025 opens on February 14th, 2025. Registrations received in July and August will be reviewed by school administration upon their return during the week of August 25th, 2025. Registrations are only considered complete once our principal has signed them or they have been approved at the school board level if required.
Registration procedures differ depending on the school which your child currently attends:
Your child currently attends a school within the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario:
Your child currently attends a school that is NOT within the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario:
The following documents and forms are required to be submitted by parents for all students:
- Registration Form (online or paper)
- Birth Certificate for your child (if child was born outside of Canada, the Confirmation of Residency and Eligibility Form is required with supporting documentation)
- Student's Catholic Baptismal Certificate - If you child has not been baptized Roman Catholic, you must submit a formal letter to our Principal which includes the following: your child's name, grade, French program requested, along with the reasons you wish your child to be enrolled in our Catholic school. If your child has not been baptized Catholic but one parent has been, please provide the parent's Catholic Baptismal certificate.
- Proof of address (this requirement can be met by providing a copy of either a hydro bill, phone bill or property tax bill). Please ensure that the home address, date, and a custodial parent's name appear on the document provided for proof of residency.
- Selection of French Program Form - French Immersion or Core French
- Parental Consent for Release of Information - authorizing your current school to release information to and obtain information from St. Thomas Aquinas CHS.
- Life Threatening Emergency Medical Form - required for all students - if no concerns, please complete student information, mark N/A and sign
- Use of Student Image - please select ONE box only, and complete.
- A copy of the student's most recent report card
- A copy of the student's Individual Education Plan (if applicable)
- Custody Paperwork (if applicable) - in the event that custodial parents are not together and there is a custody agreement in place, a copy will be required for the student's file; in the absence of a custody agreement, a signed letter of acknowledgment and consent from the legal parent not registering the child will be required.
- Direction of School Support to ENGLISH-SEPARATE Schools - NEW PROCESS REQUIRED
- Direction of School Support to the ENGLISH-SEPARATE schools is to be completed online at http://www.mpac.ca/schoolsupport - please submit printed evidence of direction of taxes with your registration package. - Cross Boundary Form and Letter (if applicable) – please check with STEO if we accept students from your catchment area)
Registrations are not considered complete until ALL required documentation has been reviewed and registration has been signed by our administration. All Non-Catholic Registrations for Grades 7 and 8 must be approved by our school board and will be reviewed in the order they are submitted. Parents will be notified of decision via email.
